Deepa Krishnan, Associate
Deepa is passionate about counseling clients on new media and Internet-law. While many attorneys shy away from this fluctuating area of practice, Deepa enjoys helping entrepreneurs and executives at emerging companies navigate through challenging legal issues. Deepa advises her clients on the strategic use of policy, deal-making, and litigation in their Internet-focused business plans.

As part of her practice, Deepa has counseled and litigated on behalf of clients in both state and federal court on a variety of intellectual property, e-commerce, Internet, new media, and complex commercial matters. She has prepped several matters for trial, been the lead drafter on prevailing dispositive motions, deposed parties and witnesses, and negotiated favorable outcomes and creative solutions for her clients during mediations and settlement conferences.
Prior to joining Kronenberger Burgoyne, LLP, Deepa was a litigator in the Los Angeles offices of Winston & Strawn, LLP and Liner Yankelevitz Sunshine & Regenstreif, LLP. Deepa received her J.D. from UCLA School of law in 2003, which she attended on a full-tuition merit scholarship, and where she earned a certificate in Business Law. Deepa earned her B.A. in 2000, graduating phi beta kappa from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, where she served as president of the University's South Asian Students' Association.
Deepa is a member of the California bar, and she is licensed to practice in the federal District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California.
